Pantry: Labels that survive the dishwasher and the Slovak language

Project vibe: "Gosh, that must have been a terrible amount of work. And for such a silly thing, right?" (Pelíšky, 1999)
This was one of our first projects, and we wanted to test what our portable label printer could do.
We wanted the result to look as professional as possible, but still with
a simple, clean design. And it worked! On the tall glass jars we placed a white strip with legible lettering and two thin lines that frame the whole design nicely.
It wasn't without its challenges, especially when we wrestled with long words like "celozrnná špaldová múka" (wholegrain spelt flour, if you're wondering). It took some doing! 😅 You won't find words like that in Instagram photos from across the ocean.
The result? Clear, functional and beautiful! This design is universal and can be adapted to different needs, exactly as the client wishes. It looks great in the pantry, on a shelf, and even "smeared" with dough on the kitchen worktop.
Question: Do the labels survive the dishwasher?
Answer: Yes. We've TESTED it! And the survivors have their own page.
